Sri Govindraja Swamy Temple

Sri Govindaraja Swamy is one of the most famous temple in the Tirupati town. This temple is located near to the railway station that everybody easily go without any problem. Sri Govindaraja Swamy is the elder brother of Lord Balaji and his temple, Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple makes for a imprortat landmark in Tirupati town, located very near to the railway station. It was sanctified by Saint Ramanujacharya in 1130 AD. The distinct feature of Sri Govindaraja Swamy Temple is the imposing Gopuram ( A well elaborately carved entrance gateway) which can be seen from a distance. This temple is made various year ago Since it is the temple of Lord Balaji’s brother, the festivals celebrated here are similar to the ones celebrated in Lord Balaji's temple. This temple is open every week  the timing is given below:-
