Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swami

Sri Kalyana Venkateswara swamy Temple is an ancient Hindu Vaishnavite temple located at Srinivasamangapuram which is 12 km from Tirupati in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh, India. This temple is very famous and everyday thousands of peoples visit in this temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara, a form of Vishnu and is referred to as Kalyana Venkateswara. The temple is categorised as an Ancient monument of National importance by Archaeological survey of India. According to the sthalapuranam, Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy appeared in the dream of a devotee, Naaraapuraiah and asked for installation of his idol that can be found near Jambulamadugu on the banks of the Penna. The devotee found the idol in Jambulamadugu as directed by Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Jambulamadugu. Immediately, he installed it on a sand heap to the North of the town. Hence, it is called Sri Narapura Venkateswara Swamy Vari temple.

The sanctuary is situated at Srinivasa mangapuram, at 10 km separation from Thirupati to the west of Thirumala Hills. Lovers, advancing to have "darshan" of Thirumala venkateswara swami will perform "archana" to the god here at the sanctuary and achieve the srinivasa mangapuram sanctuary at the tip by rising the steps of the Chandragiri.
