Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is one of the most important and amazing temple in Tirupati where peoples thousands of peoples visit every day.Sri Padmavathi Ammavari Temple is also well known as Alamelu mangapuram Temple or Alamelumangapuram. The name of this temple has its own significance it is believed that it is a place where goddess Padmavati appeared on a lotus of golden beautiful colour therefore it is named as Alamelumangapuram each word in the name has various meaning that is Alar refers to Lotus, Mel means Top, Manga signifies Goddess and Puram refers to the village or town. Padmavathi  is the main deity of the temple.
